Global team of experts – As a minimum, ECI’s partners all have 15 years’ experience in the metals and mining industry, covering areas from performance and operational improvement to maintenance and technology. Our senior technical managers have extensive operational expertise. We also have access to a global pool of experts that we bring in when projects require. With nearly 30 years of focusing on organisational design and change management, Kevin is an internationally experienced business improvement consultant, transformational change facilitator and lean management practitioner. He has a track record of success across government, manufacturing, agriculture and tier-1 miners (iron ore, diamonds, copper, gold).

Timo Ikaheinomen

Partner / Reliability & Optimisation

Timo has more than 22 years of experience in maintenance improvement and management, including in hard rock mining, steel mills, pulp mills and power. He has implemented and managed mining initiatives in Europe, Africa and Central America, with a focus on optimising operations to improve availability and throughput. Projects have ranged from 2 mtpa to 100 mpta. Areas of expertise include performance improvement, team development and strategic planning.

Mike Berry-Porter

Mike’s experience spans more than 25 years. He has delivered IT solutions and strategies for a wide range of mining and asset-intensive businesses across the Asia-Pacific region, including two global miners, and has spent the last 10 years in senior and executive leadership roles. He has a degree in commerce, and his background includes transforming performance through both the use of technology and the alignment of business and IT strategy.
